World Leaders’ Shocking Moves at G20 Summit 2023 – You Won’t Believe What Happened!

Over the upcoming two days, the 18th G20 Summit is set to convene at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, where an assembly of prominent world leaders will gather. This summit will kick off on Saturday, September 9.

In anticipation of this global event, the host nation, India, has taken comprehensive measures to prepare the national capital. Significant efforts have been made to clear and secure the city for this momentous occasion. Key topics on the summit’s agenda include the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, climate issues, and global governance concerns. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has already cautioned that the discord among leaders could escalate conflicts and erode public trust.

Even before the official commencement of the summit, its significance was diminished when Chinese President Xi Jinping opted not to attend, delegating Premier Li Qiang to represent China. While no official explanation was provided for Xi’s absence, it is widely known that New Delhi and Beijing have been embroiled in a border dispute.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, however, expressed optimism that the summit would pave the way for human-centric and inclusive development. Indian officials responsible for the G20 emphasized their commitment to reaching a consensus and assured that the summit’s declaration was nearly finalized.
